The Jayne Redman® Rotational WorkRing System by Swanstrom was designed by Tim Sheriff of Swanstrom Tools USA in collaboration with Jeweler – Educator Jayne Redman. The Rotational WorkRing has a 4.5”outside diameter and a 4″ inside diameter. It comes with 8 Phillips head screws and washers.

Having multiple WorkRings allows you to work on multiple projects without having to remove and replace screws in a single WorkRing. Create mirror image pieces easily by switching WorkRings back and forth as you duplicate steps.

To use the WorkRing, slide material under the Phillips head screws, then tighten with a Phillips head screwdriver. Muscle fatigue and soreness are eliminated as the WorkRing securely holds metal or other materials, such as wood and plastic, while you saw, carve, texture, engrave, set stones, or utilize other metalsmithing techniques. The WorkRing rotates in a silicone lined depression in the WorkRing Base allowing for smooth and accurate movement, or can be held stationary by turning the locking screw on the side, or screwing up into the Ring from the underside of the base. The generous 4″ inside diameter is idea for larger projects. The addition of Jayne’s Slider Clamps will allow you to hold material of any size, shape or thickness within the WorkRing. Easily attach or remove the WorkRing Base from a dovetail mounting plate on your bench.
